Wacker Neuson at the Demopark 2025
22. June 2025, 12:06
At stand A107, Wacker Neuson presents live demos of innovative machines like vibratory plates, the electric EZ26e excavator, and the DV60 dumper with interchangeable bucket.
In line with the stand motto “Solutions built for you,” the focus was placed on customers and their day-to-day challenges. On a total stand area of 565 square meters, the spotlight was on innovative solutions for landscaping applications. At stand A107, visitors were able to experience and thoroughly test machines such as the EW100 wheeled excavator and the DPU62 reversible vibratory plate live in action at the Wacker Neuson demo area.
“Demopark was a great opportunity for us to demonstrate to visitors and customers the wide range of applications for our construction machines and equipment,” explains Axel Fischer, Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Germany. “With the right attachment, our compact excavators and loaders become true all-rounders – ideal for a wide range of uses in landscaping and by municipalities.”
As a reliable partner for efficient construction sites, Wacker Neuson offers a broad portfolio of excavators and loaders weighing up to 17 tons and featuring various drive types. With the right attachment, professionals in landscaping and municipal sectors can find a suitable solution for virtually every application. The diverse attachments were showcased several times a day in moderated demo shows and could also be tested by visitors in between.
Solutions for narrow spaces
Following the SM100 tracked model, Wacker Neuson has expanded its mini loader lineup with the new SM50 – a 1.1-ton wheel loader. Thanks to their compact dimensions, both machines can pass through narrow gates or tight passages, making them ideal for urban environments and private gardens. These mini loaders are true multi-tools for confined jobsites. The compact SM50 is compatible with a wide range of attachments and, thanks to its strong hydraulic performance, can even operate equipment such as earth augers or trenchers. Its intuitive joystick control enables even inexperienced users to work efficiently and safely.
Solutions for efficient compaction
In the field of compaction, Wacker Neuson showcased its reversible battery-powered APU plates, which use the BatteryOne standard battery. Available with centrifugal forces of 28 and 33 kilonewtons and working widths of 40, 50, or 60 centimeters, the APU28 and APU33 models are easy to operate and start at the push of a button. Wacker Neon’s in-house developed DireX direct drive ensures efficient power transmission without losses from belts or gears – resulting in longer operating times and reduced maintenance.
Wacker Neuson is also expanding its lineup of reversible medium-weight plates powered by gasoline or diesel engines, introducing a new generation of DPU and BPU models. These models offer compaction forces of 52 or 62 kilonewtons and working widths of 47 cm, 60 cm, or 75 cm.
Solutions for emission-free construction sites
Two new electric excavators from the zero emission portfolio were on display: the EZ26e with a 2.6-ton payload and the EZ10e with a 1-ton payload. These models expand Wacker Neuson’s range of fully electric excavators – delivering the same performance as comparable diesel-powered machines.
The EZ26e is available with either a 30 kWh or 39 kWh battery and supports flexible charging via a standard household outlet (230 volts) or high-voltage power (400 volts). Designed as a zero-tail model with virtually no rear overhang, it is particularly maneuverable and compact – ideal for confined jobsites or indoor use. Thanks to its low weight, the EZ26e can be transported with a 3.5-ton trailer, including attachments – a feature that was also demonstrated at Demopark.
Solutions for flexible operation
In the dual view dumper segment – dumpers with a control console that can be rotated 180 degrees – Wacker Neuson introduced an innovative skip changing system for the proven DV60 model. This system allows quick and easy replacement of the skip, making it possible to switch, for example, from a rotary skip to a three-way tipper platform. The flexibility to use different skip types expands the machine’s range of applications, improves utilization, and even allows the dumper to be used as a truck replacement in some cases.
